Phoronix: Linux 5.4 Radeon Performance Rises Slightly Higher With Bulk Moves Enabled

With the bit of a surprise this past week of AMD flipping LRU bulk moves back on as a "fix" for Linux 5.4 and this now having landed in Linux 5.4 Git, here are some preliminary benchmarks of this feature being enabled on the newest 5.4 kernel builds since Friday.

So this will help with stuttering on games?

A frame time graph or 1% / 0.1% lows might be more revealing

Sad, valve compiler optimizations and no benchmarks for Dota2

Some very odd looking minimums there for the VII.

Is there are reason that ACO + LRU Bulk moves often seems to have much lower minimums than ACO or LLVM alone?

It would have been interesting to include LLVM + LRU Bulk moves so we could see what was causing the drop in minimums. I'm also guessing those peculiarly low minimums is what's causing the lower averages with LRU Bulk moves enabled.

Not with NAVI. Linux 5.4.0-rc2 is stuters a lote more than rc1, and performance in general is a little worse.

Eek! Why is it consistently worse, on the VII?
