        Why would they be using DDR3 memory? My XPS from 2 years ago is DDR4. Mistake in the Dell blog post?

          It has a dual channel DDR4-2666 / LPDDR4x 2933 / LPDDR3-2133 memory controller. I guess they opted for the bottom tier.

                  16 GB max RAM is limiting; as a programmer, I would like more.

                  My Thinkpad X220 from 2011 also has 16 GB RAM.
