    OpenBSD also updated its DRM code from being based on the 4.4 kernel branch to being based on the 4.19 branch.

      Yeah, but forget using newer Radeons on OpenBSD. Nobody willing to "jump in" few million LOC's of Linux-specific driver code and start porting it..
