    Munch, munch (popcorn)... Disto-wars time!!

All I hope is that the Qt guys have fixed some of the bugs that still appear to be lurking in Plasma 5 (w/ Qt 5.7.0) ... The new locale stuff is still a train-wreck...

OBS is just a tool for building packages, it can't be 1st or 3rd party. The packges built using it can be 1st or 3rd party. The packages that come in the OpenSuse repository are 1st party, while other packages built using either OBS or the rpm command on a random machine are 3rd party. Including those "official" KDE repositories. Even if OpenSuse developers maintain most of them, they are not official as they are not signed with one of the OpenSuse official keys.

A Gentoo equvalent to those repositories would be https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/KDE/Overlay where you can get the newest versions or even live builds and https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Overlay:Kde-sunset for old versions that are no longer maintained.
