      Yeah. For my money:
      - Groovy is all around great for quick and dirty work. I'm not sure how well it holds up for big projects.
      - Scala is wonderful, but operator overloading is supported and is used all over in the standard libraries and mainstream Scala tools. Plus the language supports implicit type conversions. I think those two things together mean it's all too common to encounter Scala code that's indecipherable to mere mortals.
      - I see Kotlin and Ceylon as two good attempts at 90% of the benefits of Scala but a bigger focus on code that's readable for mere mortals.
