      Huh. They're using GNOME-derived desktop infrastructure, so I assumed they'd be relying on gnome-software-plugin-flatpak​ for that. I'm on Kubuntu and I know plasma-discover-backend-flatpak​ handles integrating updates.

        The flatpak integration in Mint doesn't seem in anywhere relying on Gnome code.

          They use their own GUI Software management, neither GNOME Software nor Plasma Discover.
