    Sounds like you're off to a good start then.

    I used to love teaching juniors, but the problem I keep running into lately is that most of the juniors are actually 30-somethings who've made a career out of being junior devs (they seem to nearly all be EEs etc) and have no interest at all in getting better at their job.

    I really miss the days when I would have a whole team of people early in their professional life who really cared about the quality of their work and wanted to *be* developers, rather than entitled asshats who were only there because either it was the only work they could get or they were chasing the money. That group has without exception utterly sucked at the job, and generally also been miserable to work with. bleh.
