Smart move to me. Being able to just send in a MR/PR has made me contribute to projects. Unlike projects that used mailing lists which made me reluctant to do so.

yesss. I hate the issue trackers and mailing lists, it honestly makes it a pain to find stuff.

IMHO GitLab is completely unsuitable for people who use a screen reader or have slow internet! If you really support accessibility, it should be your priority...

Nice! I hope Wine bug reporting will move to Gitlab. from Bugzilla.

Does Gitea work better? I think it's important to reduce the barrier of entry and mailing lists alone generally don't cut it for that.

I used and liked Gitea in the past too, but to each their own. I’m sure those the maintain GitLab installs must like it.

I personally like it better because of resource usage, but I never really paid attention to accessibility. I hope it's good, or at least that some of the alternatives is.

Did Wine use Bugzilla?! That's terrible...

Bugzilla makes the bug description a "comment" and makes the bug details take one entire page, which is uncomfortable.

This is excellent news. I feel like this is going to lead to a huge spike in activity for the project.
