Heh, totally barely related, yesterday I bought some Wii controllers and steering wheels, a Mayflash DolphinBar, and a charging dock with batteries. Everything but the controllers will arrive today. Yay .

I've been trying to get into newer golf games, but nothing compares to the Tiger Woods games on the Wii and I can't afford to step up my game into VR .

I'm disappointed by the lack of 'My Dad works for Nintendo Power' posts. Put some effort into it, monitor tanners. Don't let your memes be dreams.

I'll add that to the list of games to play. Thanks.

About an hour after I posted yesterday the shipping updated and everything showed up around 4:00. It took me longer than I care to admit to realize that my DolphinBar needed to be on Mode 4 instead of 3, but I eventually figured that out everything has been running great since.

If anyone is curious, the generic TechKen brand of Wii controllers connect to the DolphinBar and work just fine that way with Dolphin (I got the 2-pack with motion plus built-in). I haven't tried them with just PC and BT (since that was never part of my plan).

It's 2D, it's simple, but it was so, so fun. RPG elements, still tricky to play but not a "sim".

And I forgot, it's actually "Advance Tour". Haven't played it since my GBA died, so apologies for the incorrect name.

I recently played Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, GBC, when going through Zelda games I haven't played. Simple and 2D can be very fun.
