Oracle's Next-Generation GNU Profiler "gprofng" Is Looking Great For Developers

No idea whether gprofng is based on it, but perf relies on hardware and kernel support for sampling without needing modified binaries either.

*nod* I'm more curious about what techniques they're using to make the measurements as meaningful as possible for humans.

Never thought I'd see Oracle and GNU in the same phrase. Not unless there was a "lawsuit" thrown in there as well.

Oracle is a major GNU and GPL contributor. Many of their software is under GPL, like Java or MySQL.
