    Andi Kleen has been providing kernel patches for LTO (gcc) for nine years.
    Various Linux kernel changes. Contribute to andikleen/linux-misc development by creating an account on GitHub.


    Clang still has big problems with LTO. When the system wakes up from sleep, it performs a hard reset. Unacceptable.

      well, the Google Pixel devices certainly wake up from sleep though lol ;-)

        I hope LTO-support in the Kernel with Clang and GCC will finally cross the finish line soon... can't wait for the performance testing on Phoronix.
