Phoronix: LLVM's OpenMP Runtime Picks Up DragonFlyBSD & OpenBSD Support

Good news for those using the LLVM Clang compiler on OpenBSD or DragonFlyBSD: the OpenMP run-time should now be supported with the latest development code...

This is great news and for once something new I am actually looking forward to.

During a work games jam I wrote a simple software renderer that was originally going to rely on parallelisation via OpenMP to push the pixels fast enough:

Unfortunately because I use OpenBSD on my work Thinkpad, I quickly found out that the -fopenmp flag was not yet supported!
My laptop remained quite warm during the demo, and I had to limit the resolution to 320x240 :/.
