    Nice. I imagine the team team at Raptor Engineering with their Talos products with the Power Architecture are pleased. That opens the possibility of more software on their architecture, and maybe full support of Firefox on the platform.

      Support for powerpc64le has existed in Rust upstream and in Fedora for quite a while now. The area where Firefox on powerpc64le is behind x86_64 is (JIT) compilers inside Firefox itself (for JS and Wasm). Also SIMD optimizations. See also https://www.talospace.com/2018/10/pa...irefox-63.html
