    I hate CMake. I hope everyone adopts Meson. Too bad employers won't make that switch any time soon.

      I hate meson because it supports only Xcode and VS IDEs.
      Like Eclipse? QT Designer? Code::blocks? All I see is Visual Studio for Windows and Xcode for Mac.

              They should just delete the Solaris source code already -- it's not like it's particularly relevant anymore after they butchered it.

                I want the opposite "Meson supports Eclipse, CodeBlocks, ...etc" like cmake.
                I use CodeBlocks under Windows and meson doesn't support open source IDEs.
