You should be comparing it to RHEL, not to Centos.

Maybe Oracle is evil. Their linux is not.

I'm comparing to RHEL:
OL has better kernel, faster bugfixes and a lot of nice yum repos.

You don't like it or Oracle changes something? In a blink of an eye an experienced admin has changed your OL install to CentOS.
