    @dungeon

    Well i see lots of HEVC things for gen9 (Skylake) in vaapi but Broadwell has support for all those codecs on Windows (Core M seems to be too slow). Most likely it is really a mix and not fully hardware decode right now - I want Skylake For Windows take a look there:

      It would be nice to check for the IPC throughput of the broadwell compared to haswell/ivy. Maybe with https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Threa...-game-required ?

        Who will be the first to fix that garbage - one who have it in hardware

          If someone makes it scriptable for PTS.

              Congrats
              I also bought an ultrabook (or they seem to call them subnotebooks?) Asus zenbook ux303la, 3 days ago, and put a 14.10. Exciting times, back to linux (after moving away from the imac), so I'll be a frequent visitor to phoronix now :P

                    Yep, just tried FN + Spacebar on Linux and it works. Off by default and didn't have it on under Windows so forgot up until now it even had keyboard backlight.

                      And this is my major problem with the T540. My T520 has an excellent keyboard:

                      The T540, a logical upgrade for me, has this abomination:

                      The totally useless number pad pushes the keyboard just enough to the left that you really notice typing offcenter from the screen. That's enough to make me look at something other than a ThinkPad to replace the T520.
