Why is BIOS - crap, and why EFI is better?

It's so much better using Krokodil (Desomorphine), I don't know why people would want to live without it... That's my best attempt at why EFI is better, lets see if our friend has a better explanation

I don't know what EFI has to do wit drugs and if this thread is the right place to open up a discussion for EFI vs traditional BIOS. Afaik Thinkpads support both modes, So it's really no point in discussing it here. Wikipedia has much information on pros and cons for those who are interested.
