I hope a nice slider phone with a terminal friendly keyboard is part of the announcement.

Ultimately it would be the announcement of a 64bit Tegra K1 based phone, but could we expect Canoncial to pull something like that off?

        Hype

I expect much hype, and nothing to deliver.

well, they'll probably at least deliver requirement to sign CLA when trying to dial phone if nothing else.

nah, I expect they will have to deliver something since Mozilla, Sailfish and tizen have already a head start.

I really hope you're wrong on that, because it is getting a bit redundant after a while.

I liked the idea that a phone can be used as a desktop.
I think with a Intel Baytrail your can make that happen.
If the bios don't hold us back like the Asus T100.
