    Whoa, insane graphics that are.
Seems a little bit jerky though.
Well, all the more incentive for me to get an android phone.

From a technical standpoint the graphics are rather impressive for something running Android on a mobile chip. The game demo itself however looks kinda herky jerky, rough around the edges, and frankly rather dull. Still it's basically just a tech demo.

            Tegra needed?

Demo is impressive... but is it running on a Tegra 2 platform? am i wrong?
Tegra 2 is no dumb stuff!
I mean... unigine for Android would be more a tablet product so far...
I want to see a demo on a good android smartphone, let's say a nexus S or galaxy S ...

This is sweet. Even if they are proprietary - they make no exceptions.

Imho not worth effort if platform not have software fallback. Tegra devices not so spread.
To became popular mass spread platform they must make api's for flash and HTML. This case can open markets for gdevs on this platform for different platforms from handhelds to consoles. Unity engine currently is currently opening this niche but i can't say all their decisions in roots are correct.. or more advanced from google webgl or VRML techs.

The number of devices that this can run on currently is very limited. However, within a few years there will more than likely be enough devices that can run this engine to make this profitable for large companies such as EA.

No there won't. The smart phone ipad market will continue canabilizing itself until it's devoured it's 60 million or so audience. No reinforcements will be sent.

Attempts to build excitement over this won't even make people want to buy pontiacs.
Riots will break out and people will demand just a damn phone. Governments will offer to buy people phones and just charge them 10 bucks a month. Even that won't work. This will bring peace in the middle east as 60 million idiots with poor judgement and a severe inability to shut the hell up will be trapped on facebook looking for verification that their brilliant idea and opinion that logs 2.0 is the greatest app eva. They will all be tasked towards breaking the like record that was set last week.
