At the time it was just for select ASUS laptops known to have a bug in the firmware resulting in suspend-to-idle issues while now additional models not only from ASUS but also Lenovo have been uncovered...

I wonder if this might fix as well the suspend issues that I'm experience on my Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ACH6...

And my HP Envy from 2019(?) does not exactly handle suspend very well. The fan stops and the laptops is getting really hot until the battery drains.

Probably this is going to be backported to stable kernels as it is to important as their are a lot off notebook users being effected me guessing.
