We have tested all ports and they are fine as long as you run the NV GPU. They are not all available on IGPU of course.

Of course it's nice to have the option to use the binary blob if you realize after you purchased a system with nvidia GPU that you're screwed. If, however, you are trying to decide what to buy that's going to work with linux out of the box, then nvidia is definitely a deal-breaker for most people that have had to deal with linux laptops using nvidia.
Professionals have been using NV reliably on Linux for 15 years in areas like Petrochemicals, CAE, Deep Learning. Animation, and Video Editing. AMD drivers have been far behind until very recently. We know of no one that offers a Linux laptop at present with AMD graphics. It's all Intel or NV. CapEx for full custom AMD solutions would likely cost millions and require many months. That cannot be justified with Linux laptop volume. When the ODMs provide compelling AMD solutions we will consider them.

Installed the KDE Slimbook 14" for my daughter 2 weeks ago, using the AMD Ryzen Zen 2 4800H CPU, 16Gb RAM and 500Gb SSD. That is a really nice and neat laptop (1.1Kg, so very light).
