What does this mean? Having the PIA widget pre-installed and encouraging the user to buy a sub, or providing a free (probs limited) subscription with the purchase of a Librem device?

Won't this make any import of Librem 5 phone into China illegal?

They could make a Chinese version without the PIA features.

Are they even going to sell to chinese people at all? I'm not under the impression that they are going to sell outside of the "western internet userbase" pool.

You do know that Wireguard is not production ready yet?

PIA has said so themselves, last September https://www.privateinternetaccess.co...-we-there-yet/ I'm sure it'll eventually get there, and I know they are supporting the project. Personally I hope much sooner rather than later, but I'm not even close to an expert on crypto/security.
