    Does the fingerprint sensor work on linux? I remember seeing the Huawei MateBook Pro X with one as well, had a neat feature where you could boot(or wake from suspend) with it and it'd do something with windows to authenticate login without you needing to enter your password. I'm not sure if display managers like SDDM even support fingerprint sensors as input though?

      GDM supports it, although I think it's useless, because I couldn't figure out how to make it a second login factor. And: fingerprints, as any biometric token, is not as secure as a well kept secret and can easily be stolen.
