  • Recultis - open source games installer

    Hi everyone,
I would like to introduce you my gaming application Recultis:
    https://makson96.github.io/Recultis/

The purpose of this software is to make it easy to combine open source game engines with proprietary content using GUI. That way you can play natively games that were never released on Linux and have all the advantages of moder open source game engines. Recultis initially supports those games:
    - Doom3: BFG
    - Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
    - The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

All you have to do is own one (or more) of this games in your Steam Libaray, download Recultis, unpack it and double click launcher "Recultis". Video instruction below:
    https://youtu.be/9wHCbyPZ6Eo
Recultis can be also used to update those games.

Have fun! Let me know what features would you like to have in this Application and about bugs which you encounter.

The project is distributed under the terms of GPL3 license and source code is available here:

    Hi everyone,
I would like to announce version 1.1.0 of Recultis!

Users of current Recultis should be able to update via build in autoupdate, while new users can download latest version from project website:
    https://makson96.github.io/Recultis/

This version of Recultis adds support for two new classic and great games:
    - Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000
    - X-COM: UFO Defense

What is more, this version of software introduce:
    - Many improvements to the interface, which now gives you rich info about game you want to install.
    - Ability to create Recultis launchers on the Desktop and in the Application Menu.
    - Ability to uninstall games.
    - You can now update game engine without needing to log on Steam.
    - Many bugs fixed.

You may now enjoy new possibilities, but the work doesn't stop here. Planning for future version of Recultis has just began. If you have any wishes, don't hesitate to ask.
    Enjoy!
