Got it out of principle. Won't really play it much, since as a game it's rather crap. Besides, I need something to use my new RX 480 on . Will most likely spend most of my holidays playing Shadow Tactics instead.

Yeah I got it and added to the queue, along Bioshock Infinite and some others. Well, considering I am still playing Oblivion (left it for some years, continued the game, then left it again, and continued again), I'll probably play Deus Ex probably in 2026.

I'm not able to launch Deus Ex on my brand new RX-480. Is there any hack?
I'm on mesa/drm/xserver git and LLVM 3.9 (LLVM 4.0 doesn't start either).
Kernel is from drm-next-4.10.

Try running Steam for a terminal and launch the game, and see what pops up. Mind you, Deus Ex: MD runs like a slideshow with Mesa regardless of in-game settings and loading times are atrociously long.
