    WTF are you talking about?
Ok sure it can handle 30fps @ 720p. I personally wouldn't call that an enjoyable experience.

If you consider this, please do with Axel's multithreaded Nine tree.

It's not happening since as mentioned earlier in the thread, turns out there isn't any benchmarking support built into DOOM.

Do you know if I would be able to squeeze more performance using Vulkan on Linux?

How would Nine patches help anyway? Doom uses either OpenGL or Vulkan.

It requires a compatibility profile so no it wont work with opengl on Mesa yet. As for vulkan, I know the radv driver does not work, but I'm not sure about the intel vulkan driver.

some Wine-based DOOM Linux benchmarks, including OpenGL vs. Vulkan
FYI, on Windows, my system run Vulkan version as twice as fast the OpenGL do (~120fps vs ~60fps) at 1080p, Ultra Settings.

                  I'm using Rx480 8GB on Core i5 4430, 16GB Ram on Windows 10.

He, he, so this guy who make patches used year old catalyst's fglrx to run a game... great achivement for fglrx to run a game released many months after that And now on Linux even more future

I am not sure if amdgpu-pro or even Crimson on WIndows runs profile for Doom's GL renderer... but i guess not, to make VK perf looking even better

Not sure if I'll bother about patching wine but rather wait for a native Linux/Vulkan version.
