      OpenGL, they've already said they aren't releasing Vulkan ports until next year.

          Nice. I got this game bundled with a graphics card purchase a while back. I've never played any of the Total War games before, so I'll give it a look.

            Which is okay, I think warhammer has d3d12 but honestly: who wants to play this game? I'd rather have their first Vulkan title something great

                  This game makes heavy use of CPU so it needs the low-overhead API like DX12 or Vulkan more than anything. Adding more overhead with OpenGL on Linux is the exact opposite direction...The cheapest and best upgrade to make your Linux game run a lot better is to buy... Windows.
