    Or Winetricks was automated, installing only the libraries that are not 100% complete for all apps and without prefixes. Wile libraries get finished one at a time.

    Just a bit of a ho-hum release...
    But at least Wine allows a pre-existing directory to be used a 32-bit Wineprefix root - that's one annoyance of the checklist.

    Now building Wine-Staging 1.9.20 ...

    I see what you mean. But even for talking about just Ubuntu, the distro has a bunch of DEs and Unity is the single one using Mir, and nobody sees anything useful in Mir. I don't think the question "To wayland or to Mir?" is really a thing.

    As for predicting the future, to me it rather looks like Wayland support would start when they finalize GTK support (which is going in wine-staging).
