Unfortunately, people who used Mac OS X weren't so lucky because AA was ported only to PPC.

Take something like Call of Duty Black Ops, which takes place during the Vietnam War. There's a scene in there, where you and a member of your squad are forced to play Russian Roulette with one another after being captured by the Vietcong (which is a complete rip-off from "The Deer Hunter"). According to the US journalists who covered the documented cases of POWs during that time, this is something that never occurred regarding their treatment of prisoners. You could call that scene in the game, therefore, propaganda.

          From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Deer_Hunter
"One of the most talked-about sequences in the film, the Vietcong's use of Russian roulette with POWs, was criticized as being contrived and unrealistic since there were no documented cases of Russian roulette in the Vietnam War.[6][58][59] Associated Press reporter Peter Arnett, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the war, wrote in the Los Angeles Times, "In its 20 years of war, there was not a single recorded case of Russian roulette ... The central metaphor of the movie is simply a bloody lie."[6] Director Cimino was also criticized for one-sidedly portraying all the North Vietnamese as despicable, sadistic racists and killers. Cimino countered that his film was not political, polemical, literally accurate, or posturing for any particular point of view.[58] He further defended his position by saying that he had news clippings from Singapore that confirm Russian roulette was used during the war (without specifying which article).[7]"

I'm going to look at this game as a "game" first and foremost; something fantastic (as in "fantasy") and surreal, yet interactive. Subtle political nonsense isn't going to sway me, and I'll happily brush it aside as I have while playing the more recent entries of the Call of Duty franchise.
Hahahahahahahahahaha You think that Call of Duty has any bearing on reality whatsoever? CoD's goal is to be the shitty sports equivalent franchise for the FPS nothing more, if you take it as more than that you're being an idiot. Also Unless you've completely lost touch with reality then nobody thinks what happens in a game or a movie is real or in any way historically accurate unless it's something that is literally meant to be a documentary.

I found information that I can run this game on the last versions of Mac OS X which doesn't have Rosseta. I do not think that they have the access to the source code of AA 2.5, but maybe they used Wine.

will probably work very well with steam controller:

A fellow named Devin White has written up a lengthy blog post on his experience using the final iteration of the Steam Controller, and it's well worth a read.

The more games, the more users we'll get. I think am smart enough not to fall for any kind of propaganda (well I don't even live in the USA), but the game has some advantages like no micro transactions or other free to play crap and also the players behave pretty well, else they get instantly kicked out, unlike CoD and others.

America's Army (v 2.8.x) is the only game I have played online for an extended period of time. Granted, I didn't play it on Linux (wasn't even a linux user back then), but it is one of the most amazing simulator-like games. Hell, you had to pass a couple of "tests" before being allowed to start playing. And for friendly fire, you lost a couple of in-game points and were even sent to jail :P

                    Good Game.
