A guy I used to work with told me he used to play this a lot. He's a Canadian living in Canada and despite that he said he was regularly approached by "army recruiters" that would talk with him in chat if he ever considered joining the army. When they made this game is was marketed as showing off that you could get a programming skillset in the murican military (so yes it's still officially a recruiting tool) but the whole accosting players online is/was illegal, yet they did it anyway...
So no, fuck this game, and fuck it dirtying up the linux ecosystem.
