          At some points, it actually looked as nice as the Mario games that Nintendo has, particularly the underwater scene.

                Shitty

                The karts (cars / vehicles) look very boring, none are really cute.
                The maps look tedious and repetitive and without fantasy.
                The game engine is very slow on high quality settings.

                The render engine doesn't look cute. It should use cel-shading.

                All in all, it is pretty boring. The development team could need some artists.

                    Feel free to setup a Kickstarter/GoFundMe/whatever camapign for that, I doubt the STK developers would not appreciate that.
