When I ran the game in catalyst, it actually performed great on my system. I didn't play it, though, because 5.1 surround was missing. I have a feeling they're never going to fix that.

I recently switched back to radeon though, and the game still doesn't work on that. Even if it did work though, it probably wouldn't perform that great. I figure by the time it will work, the game will have more patches and perform better.

According to the developer working on the eON port of TW2, they're currently working on a DX10/11 implementation. This strongly suggests that TW3 will be an eON port as well.

Actually there has been no mention of Linux version. That image was a mistake and was taken down shortly after it was put up.

If nothing else, its good to see them provide support and fixes a good time later after the initial port.

I thought the performance was decent, not quite equal with Windows (it likely never will be since it's using a wapper and it's likely there will always be some overhead), but very much playable back in September. I had it running all maxed out at 1440p except Motion Blur (because I hate Motion Blur) and Ubersampling. Granted, I run a 780Ti, so I can just brute force through performance issues in most games. Hopefully this patch helps some people with lower spec machines get playable framerates. I'll definitely do another run through the game in the next month or two (it will be my 7th or 8th time through the game).

The edit time is what it is right now due to spammers editing clean posts and tossing in spam links after the fact. Will try again adjusting when having more time to see if those spam bots have left or no longer operate that way or if the spam service now detects edited posts.

    Finished it yesterday

I finished the game just yesterday

But I'll certainly be doing a second (and probably third) run, this game is spectacular.

Also, TBH, I really didn't have any performance issues. Sure, I've got a SB i7 and a 680, but I still had all the settings up. Except for motion blur and DoF, I hate them.
