And sharing the games will stop them to do that how? They're DRM free for a reason.

That's the successor to Alpha Centauri, not CIV 5.

Starting February 6th last year with Half-Life 1 and The Cave. Both games have a crowbar as the first item you pick up.

    Half-Life 2 (206 hrs)
    Half-Life 2: Episode Two (83 hrs)
    Half-Life (76 hrs)
    The Cave (67 hrs)
    Cook, Serve, Delicious! (61 hrs)
    BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2 (54 hrs)
    Portal 2 (43 hrs)
    Half-Life 2: Lost Coast (29 hrs)
    Portal (25 hrs)
    Papers, Please (18.7 hrs)
    Snuggle Truck (18.3 hrs)
    LYNE (17.5 hrs)
    Half-Life 2: Episode One (16.5 hrs)
    Kentucky Route Zero (14.3 hrs)
    Broken Age (13.7 hrs)
    (...)

I got used to gaming on Linux but when I look at it, it's still some kind of miracle or something. (No Windows machine here around, the last game I bought and played was HL2 in 2004 to 2006, and then a long time nothing happened.) And buying the games during holiday sales or the regular Humble Bundles it's not much cost at all.

That is more like a separate setting of Civ 5. The engine is still the same, and apparently while Civ 5 is full of places they had to give up on one unit per hex because it was stupid and unworkable, they are have still not admitted it was a terrible idea.

Not sure why there's still been no word on CS:GO for Linux, total silence.

Wait people this stupid actually exist? How can you link to something that also refutes the dumb point you're trying to make?

    Oh right, trolling for flamebait.

Since 1991, the award-winning Civilization series of turn-based strategy games has challenged players to build an empire to stand the test of time.

"AAA" games generally aren't about quality but how many 12 year olds they can get to buy a rehash of a rehash of a rehash with prettied up graphics.

Best game ported to Linux this year has hands down been Civ5 though,

CKII and EUIV. Both great games with producer bent on supporting Linux going forward - sadly HoI3 did not made the cut no polish nuclear bombs in 1945 in berlin
