Whoa! What brought this about? It wasn't exactly expected.

EDIT: The store page still shows it as Windows-only.

      Sweet!

I still haven't beat the first one, but love that I'll be able to play the second one on Linux!

It's most likely still in beta form so only if you own the game will the Linux client will be available in your library.

Looks to be a mistake, steamdb lists no Linux launch config but it does show a mac launch config but no mac OS support so I have a feeling a dev just checked the wrong box.

Once again a case of Michael not bothering to actually look into the information he publishes as "fact."

It's NOT out yet, Mike didn't even check

It is not out yet, once again I am sorry to say Mike hasn't even taken a look at it. Nor has he shown any info for you.

Here is the proper information: http://www.gamingonlinux.com/article...-to-linux.2265

There is no content yet for Linux, SteamDB got a listing update that is all for now.

                  totally unexpected

I really hope this is true. I already played Metro 2033 on Windows and felt unsure to buy this one too, but once this game is released for Linux on Steam (for real) I don't have any doubts anymore.

I was the one that "submitted" this...

I didn't say "oh look metro last light is here!!!!11", I just said its appeared in my steam list and I was suprised since I hadnt heard that it was coming and did he know anything about it or confirm it.

Be nice if there is a Linux version (more then nice, I'd get all the cheevos on there if it does), but a linux version before mac version is pretty rare I'd say.
