I am still quite the newbie but if open source software is so great, why aren't GIMP and the AMD drivers kicking ass compared to their proprietary counterparts?

do you think I'm the middle one?
let me check:
did I purchase a 14 year old game (that should be free by now) for 10? ?
nope, looks not
so I guess I didn't get butt fucked by valve

this thread:
the bottom deer is all of you
and the top deer is valve.
let's troll some more:
if you think linux steam will make ANY DIFFERENCE you are an idiot.
No windows user is gonna switch to linux just because some 14 year old games are now available for linux.
What was really needed in Linux and everyone knows this (besides a much better development model and better distros) was a professional tool like adobe creative suite 6 and/or microsoft office
You can bitch all you want but gimp can't even reach 10% of what photoshop is
video editing in linux? well, there's lightworks, kinda, alpha ish
and that's about it, all the others are amateur as shit so
wide linux adoption would only happen with more professional distro (ubuntu is getting there but at a really slow pace) and the availability of a tool like premiere or photoshop
fuck games
