Phoronix: Blizzard Entertainment Planning A Linux Game For 2013

Blizzard Entertainment, the game studio behind wildly-popular games like World of Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft, is planning for a Linux game announcement in 2013...

It has to be StarCraft 2. D3's gotten boring after a month. WoW's always been boring because of it being an MMO. SC2 however ... already played >2000 matches, still fun.

So they will port an already released game? Fine.

      ...release for Ubuntu Linux...
It's getting tiresome to read this with every major announcement of a Linux port. :/

Well at least they are being honest.

Why? Did you see the Bat signal or something?

I hope it's true - SC2 is one of the very few games I still like to play.
I wanted to build a Windows machine just for it actually (don't want to reboot). But then the price tag switched from $60 to $660+?

Not going to buy it. D3 sucked major ass. That's coming from a guy who played Diablo 2 for about a gazillion hours. They just wanted to make a WoW rip off with WoW graphics and Diablo Characters so they can piggyback on Diablo 2s success.
