However, I have some kind of mental barrier against playing games in windowed mode instead of fullscreen. It's just not the same. I know, I know, I should seek help :P
Choose your max resolution in the launcher, then right click the window border (shortcut: Alt+F3, for when the border is hidden), Advanced, Check "No border" and "Keep Above Others".
That should work around it while still providing a fullscreen solution

You're not alone, I hate windowed gaming too.

            I get the following error:
./trine2_linux_32bit: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Maybe a symlink will help, I don't know. Can anyone help me?

            Update:
So I got this fixed, now I'm missing the PhysX libs. Where can I download or install those for fedora 16?

It seems to me that your binary is not loading its packaged libraries right.

Based on the original Trine's directory structure (I do not have Trine 2) try the following command before you launch it from a terminal:
              Code:
              export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/games/trine2/lib32
This should force it to load it's packaged libraries.

Okay, what do you have in your lib32 directory? Did it install the libraries correctly on your system?

                      I?m wondering?

                      - is it playable on a Core i 1st gen processor? (Intel HD Graphics)
                      - does it disable alt-tab and all keyboard shortcuts like all SDL-based games?
                      - does it have broken mouse support like all SDL-based games? (mouse movements that are way too slow/not consistant with user settings)

                      Thanks.
