I agree with the others who believe this was a test to see what they could away with. I have no problem plunking down cash for a bundle that includes indy games with good support from what i read the games in this bundle lacked proper linux support and the fact early on it was just one game that didnt look that appealing to begin with may have contributed to the low sales, i dont know what they were aiming for but they probably cleared half a million for themselves and the devs, this is assuming they split the proceeds 50/50 with charity.

After seeing the brits try to force porn off the internet again I finally pitched in and picked it up for $20, with the slider set to give all to the EFF, also sent a "soup nazi" email as to why I didn't pay more and why I refuse to put anything in the tipjar again if they ever try this crap again.

I've never bothered to figure it out, but from the slider it looks like the "humble tip" is around 10-15% by default.

You could track the XMLHttpRequests for the real-time updates with tools like Firebug (while the bundle is active). Their content varies, but it shows not only exact figures like orders per system, but also how the amount is split among developers, tip, and charity.

Crap, I forgot to get it in the end. Now I feel stupid. Oh well, maybe they'll offer it with the next one.

I think it's en excellent result given the narrow offering of this bundle.

It's probably a sign that the Bundles are getting more publicity and recognition. Even the first bundle (where all the games were bloody brilliant) was not this successful this quickly -- and this was originally only one game, 3 in the end.

Now it's time for another large, varied bundle. I liked the Frozenbyte bundle, but it was essentially 3 games, with two being virtually the same, and this one was rather meh and I skipped it.
