I would so much rather this were Witcher 2.

Nah, I now believe that very graphics-intensive games are no good match for Linux. The open drivers can't cope at all with modern graphics and the AMD blob is buggy for other uses. So many people would still play it on Windows even if there were a Linux version. Probably only NVidia blob users would enjoy it on Linux, meaning the potential market size is even smaller then the total sum of people with a good enough GPU.

I think LGP (and others) they should focus on simpler stuff that doesn't depend on 3D graphics performance.
