They won't necessarily use more of their bandwidth. To establish a good swarm you can realistically get one going quite efficiently with usage of superseeding. Many of those DDL sites restrict the size of the data that can be downloaded as well.

Vimeo allows downloading of the uploaded file for the first week after original upload from a free account, and their quality is better than Youtube but their player is so FUBAR in Linux I wouldn't recommend it ;-)

Great for not grabbing the mouse, this would allow maximizing the windows and still being able to switch between desktops.

I'm not sure about DE, don't they all use ALT-TAB? Some Linux games also use ALT-ENTER for switching between fullscreen and windowed mode, Video players also use those shortcuts.

As for other shortcuts, Svartalf or icculus should know more about that. i never understood how, but some games manage to only grab the keypresses they need (those you affect to an action in the game), leaving the rest usable by the DE. Others, like X3, grab everything and you've got to exit the game and restart each time you need to adjust the global sound volume.

Please just make sure the game scales well with 4 or more cores. That would be a great bonus for those of us with lesser gpus, but still interested in this game.

I must say that your game looks awesome. I will definitely buy this title.

When in windowed mode, do you capture the mouse like Aquaria with no possibility to access other windows, or is it like World of Goo when you can still check your emails & IRC without having to exit the game?

Personally I don't care about graphics, I care about games.
And with games I mean gameplay, heck I love to play Railroad Tycoon 2, Stronghold 1, Doom II etc. occasionally.

So what is important to me: Does it make fun?

@d2kx : same here, the game looks like it's in such great shape already, and with beta access... Plus it's the kind of game I'm sure I'm going to play too much ;-)
