    ATi isnt supporting S3TC as well, but it can run without it anyway, so thats not really a case...

      I suspect they eventually have to end up rewriting the whole thing. I mean, while http://hrp.duke4.net/screens/ep1/e1l1_01.jpg looks mostly fine, the walls look far from what you could do with modern computer technology. ^^

        Depends on the driver I think, r300g supports S3TC with libtxc-dxtn.
