No surprise here, I was already under the impression ut3 for linux was cancelled proper.
Of course, there's absolutely nothing official about Steam or Source for linux either.

Yeah, Ryan is also still working on SDL, mentoring Gsoc students among other things, and that's a pretty central piece to gaming on Linux.

        Editor,

you forgot to mention Heroes of Newerth!!! That's on Linux and is simply kick ass with very good graphics. Please don't omit it in the future when you enumerate good games.

Also, LGP besides Shadowgrounds Survivor released Sacred Gold which is pretty neat as well.

Sacred is great, but it was released almost a year ago.

Unfortunately, the whole situation with LGP is a bit frustrating:

That's exactly what I was about to say. He also fixed a tricky sound bug in SDL that I, among others, had been experiencing for quite some time.

Well, maybe they will do like id Software and 10 years from now, release the source, when it will not matter anymore...

Yes, I have read it as well. It's a shame that some guys belive LGP is some kind of Blizzard Entertainment...

This is neither official nor confirmed. Unless it is written on the Valve website itself it's not official and not confirmed.
