That sounds to me he made no regression tests for other games/products.

So while it might be positive for Everspace, and probably also is for other games, without tests he can't be sure and so is IMHO neglecting responsibility.

that is why you need people running mesa-git thankfully lots of people do and if they update often, hopefully people will find any potential regressions and report them

No one should use Zink in production tho, its experimental so regressions are fine if the code overall progresses.

Unless there is an issue opened for it on gitlab, I doubt it. You have to report problems to the right place/people before anything can happen.

Awesome progress in Zink development. It is exciting to see that we are coming close to deleting Opengl for good.

deleting opengl by making opengl more relevant xD

The latest Zink + Radv benchamark are quite old, could we get some new one to see how close to RadeonSI it is now ?

Also, when is Zink set to be not experimental anymore? Anyone knows ?
Mike really reduced his contribution working on it since he's chair of OpenGL,
(the classic: you're very good at something, you get promoted, then you don't do what you were good at anymore)
it feels a bit like Zink is slowing down just before the finish line.

I am not sure what you are trying to say.
Zink is replacing opengl, that is all. Instead of having opengl as a standalone library, that old system library will be just a layer over Vulkan with Zink. To me, that is the perfect way for keeping opengl around. This is just like dxvk.
