        Ugh, so with this release proton experimental must have been updated. Alt-tab away from game doesn't show the window of the application I alt-tabbed to. Just shows the game still.

              Huh. I played Sleeping Dogs: Difinitive Edition on Linux a couple of years ago via Proton. I don't remember there being any issues.

                  With Radeon graphics you get a blank-white screen with the Proton from Valve. I was forced to use Proton-GE because of that a year and half ago.

                  I don't know if the "playable" status for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is because of the blank screen bug, but at least the bug existed.

                    Does everyone who hasn't been waiting 3 decades for Wine/Proton understand how big of a deal this all is?

                    Valve is my hero for Proton.
