    Audio is not the point of that library. GLFW it's not a multimedia library. It's strictly a windowing library for the purpose of using hardware accelerated rendering and input processing. That's it. There's a plethora of good audio library out there, including OpenAL, the new steam audio runtime or even soundio are all good candidates for audio.

    It's the simplicity and narrow scope of GLFW that are its selling points.

    SDL has batteries included even for rendering, but in reality, very few game dev and game engines use those.

    Still not good enough to be actually used native on wayland and doesn't run minecraft without an additional patch.

    But it's on the right track and if someone doesn't mind worse performance and one or the other glitch, he can experiment with it.
