nah der was a lever thingy on it that turns it on and off, (supposed to remain on so i have no idea why it even exists) and over 20 years it decided to turn itself to to the off position. I suppose that's what you get when you outsource.

i think we are getting offtopic. what would be an appropriate forum for prostitutes and water heaters?

sometimes its better if they dont have teeth

on the flipside its 10k startup for source indie licensing. if the Ontario minimum wage is ~$10 (excluding socialist taxes) then that's 100 hours working at mcdonalds

and if 10 people developed the game thats 100 hours at mcdonalds each

Heres the real question. If 10 developers worked at mcdonalds for 100 hours each, how many happy meals would be sold?

It would be really cool to get some more Linux games which look state of the art. Quake 3 or similar engine are certainly not bad - and run fast even on old pcs, but of course you want to see some better gfx on a fast system too. Multi platform engines are definitely the best way for this. Linux only would be a joke, but when you can run it from gameing console to Linux, Mac and Win then you reach much more users - and don't forget the marketing value of Linux games. Even if there would be only 1% desktop linux users, then lots of em want to play games, and multiplattform games are definitely first choice for em usually...
