    big changes to the existing OpenGL rendering code
    To clarify, the OpenGL renderer for 4.0 was mostly rewritten from scratch.

    support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution
    This is only FSR 1.0 for now, but we're interested in adding FSR 2.x support in a future release.

      Is there a plan to make vullkan as the default renderer in the desktop graphical environment of any linux operating system?

        Reading the linked article, it appears lots of work has gone into making godot less cumbersome to use, does this mean that it is approaching the point that if can be recommended as a learning platform to those without experience in engines such as unity or unreal?

          Deepin is working on it. It can already run partly on Vulkan and the team is working to implement full support.
