Coreboot does support optional UEFI payloads (TianoCore is one such payload). Some vendors who use coreboot support UEFI but not everyone. tldr: implementation dependent.       Sorry for late reply, according to their website https://coreboot.org/status/board-status.html my motherboard is not listed and I'm not really willing to risk bricking the machine I depend on
