    Valve has updated their monthly Steam Hardware/Software Survey statistics for September and they indicate the closest we've seen in a while for Steam on Linux closing back in on the 1.0% threshold...

    Wow, that's quite big bump, hopefully the trends stays that way.

    With Apple going to ARM and hopefully some current macOS users switching to Linux instead of Windows, I think we could actually break the 2% barrier again in two or three years.

            Statcounter "Desktop Operating System Market Share Worldwide":
            July: 1.85%
            August: 1.84%
            September: 1.73%

              Usually user counts behave logarithmic. The more people use it the more people want to use it.
              But that is not with every product the case and it has to show if it will be right in our case.

                    Wine/Proton has gotten better which is good and there has been a few people jumping to Linux, but this underwhelming up tick is all that will result. I'm sure Valve is swooning right now thinking its wonderful.
