Does anyone know why the Steam store flickers when run under Wine now? It seems that shortly after Valve began working on Proton something in wine changed and now the Steam store flickers into separately updating graphics blocks. And I've never been able to figure out why.

For me using DXVK helped with the display of the steam client.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I use DXVK and it doesn't help. In fact one of the odd things is that none of the numerous things I've tried, from raw Wine to DXVK, seem to change the problem at all. I'm perplexed.
